1. Overview

At Global Goods Home, we want you to be happy with your Christmas decor and home decor purchases. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since delivery of your order, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange, except where required by mandatory consumer law.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. For fragile ornaments and decor, please repack them carefully to avoid damage in transit.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept returns for:

  • Perishable goods (such as food or flowers, if ever offered)
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable liquids or gases

Additional Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable digital products
  • Some health and personal care items
  • Personalized or custom-made items (for example, custom-printed decor), except where defective

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email).

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. All returns should be sent to our designated returns address (see “Shipping Returns” below).

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item with obvious signs of use (for example, decor that has been hung/used and shows wear)
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

2. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (or to store credit where appropriate), within a certain number of days depending on your payment provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • First check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

3. Sale Items

Unless otherwise stated, only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or discounted items are generally non-refundable, except where required by law (for example, if the item is faulty or not as described).

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Because many of our products are seasonal and fragile, please contact us as soon as possible if something arrives broken.

5. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received. A gift voucher or store credit will be emailed or otherwise made available to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be informed of your return.

6. Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is due to our error (for example, a defective or incorrect item). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund where applicable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items or fragile Christmas decor, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
